Estevan, a safety aide at Santa Fe High who prefers not to share his last name, joined the staff in 2023.
Originally from Santa Fe, Estevan attended Saint Francis Cathedral School for junior high and then Saint Michael’s High School. He pursued his college education at UNM, majoring in psychology.
Estevan wanted to become a security guard to help guide kids in the right direction and help them advance in life.
Estevan said he enjoys his job, especially the opportunity it provides to get to know his co-workers and the kids he helps.
In his free time, Estevan loves to go golfing, which he says is a soothing activity for his mind.
