The head of security and lead supervisor for all safety aides at Santa Fe High is Victor Quintana.
Victor joined the SFHS team in November of 2021. He works to make sure the staff and students are safe, always ready to respond if something were to happen at school.
Born and raised in Santa Fe, Victor graduated from Santa Fe High in 2004. He said he likes being able to interact and communicate with the students, getting to know the staff, and helping to train new safety aides. He says he enjoys his job overall.
After finishing high school, Victor worked at a glass company before he decided to work for Santa Fe Public Schools. He said this job has better benefits, better opportunities, and a better schedule than his previous employer, allowing him to spend a lot more time with his family, his daughter, and his friends.
This job also gives VIctor more time to build cars, mainly lowriders, which is something he began doing while he was in high school. In his free time he likes to build and design his own lowriders, cruise around Santa Fe in the cars, and go to car shows.
