Santa Fe High School Football players helped out at Chaparral Elementary School’s winter carnival on Dec. 9, helping to make the event “a smashing success,” according to Principal Erica Martinez-Maestas.
“These young men were punctual, respectful, kind and helpful,” she said. “Our cafeteria was packed with students, parents and grandparents. Students played lots of games, many of which were manned by SFHS football players. Our carnival would not have been so successful if not for the support of Coach Martinez and his players.”
Principal Erica Martinez-Maestas added, “The community is beyond grateful.”
