Ariella Santana, Reporter
Ariella Santana is a Mexican-American from the small village of Pecos, NM. Her hobbies are listening to music, reading, going for rides up the Pecos Canyon, watching novelas, and of course, singing in the SFHS choir or in her room alone. At the moment, she has a list of careers she wants to follow, which she is not ready to share since she’s not sure which to follow yet. Some things you should know about her are her name in English is Ariel (like the Little Mermaid), and on weekends she helps her grandpa deliver The Santa Fe New Mexican through Pecos. She may seem shy at first, but once you get to know her, she’s a sweet, kind, and respectful person. Ariella has three pieces of advice: 1) Care is not selfish; therefore, we should treat ourselves with respect, love, and kindness. 2) Don’t let people define who you are; we get to decide who we are and want to be. 3) Don’t be a caboose; be a leader.
