Colorful in both appearance and personality, Ada Zoe Zgela finds utmost joy in one simple thing: stories. For example, the stories of things and people's past incite a childlike glee within her, and the tales of fictitious worlds often whisk her away through novels and cartoons. One of her favorite activities is creating two-dimensional art, a type of visionary tale, while listening to her favorite podcast, Lore, which places heavy emphasis on the dark and historical. Another hobby of Ada Zoe's is video games, specifically of the role-playing genre, which allows her to delve deep into fictional realms full of beauty, danger, magic, and adventure. Even her family pets are named after fictitious vampires. Her dogs are Countess, named after the infamous Countess Elizabeth Bathory; and Dracula, named after Count Dracula. Her cat is Marceline the Vampire Queen. This constant consumption of stories allows Ada Zoe to gain a deeper knowledge of our reality and a heightened understanding of the human experience, which is a partial reason as to why she so enjoys imbibing tales. As a result of all this, Ada Zoe is a diligent student of the humanities, especially social studies, art, and anything that allows for written expression. Thus, it was only natural that she should pursue writing through Santa Fe High School's journalism class, as any practice in the realm of writing leads to improved writing skills, which will ultimately serve to further her love for history, art, and stories altogether.
