The Haircut

One day I needed a haircut because my hair looked absolutely horrible, like a little bit too long.

Not so long ago my dad had told me that they give designs on your hair for about $25 at the mall and he was willing to get me one.

So I thought, Why not ask him if we could go over there? My dad was a little bit on the fence, but soon he took me.

We were at the mall and I was looking at the designs like, Damn, I don’t know what to get. I really wanted one that looked lit and matched well with my hair because I’m usually very picky with things.

My mom suggested the Broncos or the Bulls logo. I thought about the Broncos, but there was just something really cool about the Bulls logo on the back of a head, so I decided to get the Bulls logo.

So this guy started doing my hair. He needed a picture to make the design, and he told me it would take about an hour for him to complete it.

I was a little surprised at how long it was going to take to put a design on my head. I was just patiently waiting, watching music videos on their TV.

So he finally finished my hair and I won’t lie — it actually looked pretty nice. The guy did a really good with the faded part too.

I don’t really remember how much it cost, but it was definitely over the price it was advertised to be. As usual, my dad is a huge complainer about things, so it was only destined for him to complain about this, about how long it took and how much it cost, but I was just really happy with the results.

So I went to school and got a lot of compliments. My favorite one was, “Oh yeah…it looks good.”

It was only a few days later when it started to grow back and that was a real shame because it looked good.
