Mr. Zack Cole is the coach for weight lifting, boys basketball, and P.E. He shared that in weightlifting class, students are mainly focusing on the five components of fitness: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition.

The class is an elective credit and students can earn one full elective credit if they finish the whole year. However, students must have earned a full P.E. credit before taking this class. (Weight lifting is not available to freshmen.)

Coach Cole said that there could be some new programs later in the year, but at the moment the class is run largely the way it was last year.
