Boys Soccer: Winning With New Coaches

Caleb Hoyle

Santa Fe High is an everchanging school, and this year boys soccer has experienced change as well.

The new varsity coach is Mr. Eadie, who is best known as the teacher for AP Human Geography and AP Psychology. But this is not his first time being a coach for Santa Fe High. Thirteen years ago he was the varsity coach for Santa Fe High, and last year he was the JV coach.

The new coach for JV is Matthias Sayer, who has some background coaching in the Rio Rapids Northern Soccer Club.

At the moment, Varsity has set their foot in the game, with victories against Santa Fe Prep and Moriarty and ties against Saint Mike’s and Taos. The JV team is also doing well, with four wins and no losses, as of Sept. 18.
