The Santa Fe High school choirs traveled to Ireland in June and participated in two concerts, one in Londonderry and one in Dublin. They also saw the Giant’s Causeway, a ninth-century monastery, a village recreated to depict the years of the potato famine, and many more sights.

“It rained cats and dogs the first three days, and then the sun came out and we had lovely weather the rest of the trip,” choir director Mrs. Barnes said.

Looking forward to the next trip, Mrs. Barnes added, “We will head to Disneyland in March, 2020, for the Music in the Parks competition and we hope lots of singers will get to go with us!”
