BTS World Tour Love Yourself in Seoul is an opportunity to see K-Pop idols perform without having to fly across the world. This concert film features BTS, also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan, a South Korean pop group that debuted in 2013.

The band, which consists of seven members — Jin, Suga, RM, Jhope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — were the first K-Pop group to be nominated for a Billboard Music Award. When they won, they were also the first K-Pop group to win a Billboard Music Award.

The film consists of the band performing full on with powerful energy and charisma. They perform 24 songs with an encore performance of three additional songs.

The film was first announced on BTS’ official Twitter account on Dec. 13. Five days later, tickets were on sale. It was released on Jan. 26 for only one day in 102 countries. Due to high demand for it to return to theaters, Fathom Events and the website LoveYourselfinSeoul.film selected certain countries, including the U.S., to screen it again on Feb. 9 and 10.

The film was produced by Big Hit Entertainment and CJ CGV Screen X, and shot with 42 cameras. It grossed $11.7 million worldwide and attracted 1.2 million spectators (South Korea excluded). It broke the record for largest worldwide event cinema release after being screened in 3,800 cinemas and 95 countries, according to Bryan Rolli, writing in Forbes.

The concert film is so realistic that it makes the theater audience feel like they are at the concert. It is also upbeat; the band members messing around makes the movie loveable and enjoyable to watch. However, there are some moments when the music isn’t loud enough for the theater audience to hear.

Most fans in the Regal Winrock 16 IMAX & RPX theater were doing the fan chant along with the fans in the movie. Also, most fans stood up to dance and sing in the middle of the theater and were very emotional, with some even crying during the performance.
