Lasagna is a well-known family dish, tasty and satisfying. This is a family recipe that tastes pretty yummy! The dish makes several servings, enough to feed the whole family!


1 lb. ground beef

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 garlic cloves

1 can of tomato paste

1 quart of spaghetti sauce

¾ lb. mozzarella cheese

1 pint cottage cheese

½ cup parmesan cheese

1 package of lasagna noodles (there will be two layers)

Salt and pepper to taste



  1. Mince garlic finely.
  2. Brown the ground beef in the olive oil. Add the garlic, along with salt and pepper, and simmer for 10 minutes or until fully cooked.
  3. Add tomato paste and spaghetti sauce to the meat. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Cook the noodles as instructed on box.
  5. Layer the noodles, meat, cottage cheese, and mozzarella.
  6. Top with parmesan.
  7. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
