Chief Patricia Schipp was awarded the National Citizenship Education Teacher Award from the Veterans of Foreign Wars in early September.
Chief Schipp, who is one of the NJROTC teachers at Santa Fe High, won the first place New Mexico Citizenship Education Teacher Award in January, which put her in the running for this national award.
