Students from the Naval Science 3 class completed lessons in weather, aerodynamics, and basic aviation navigation.  On May 6, nine of these students got a chance to fly an airplane from the right seat around the local area.

Emilio Leon, Niven Horvath, Wendy Munoz, Shyanne Romero, Jake Mirabal, Robert Pyle, Zakki Khan, Isaac Portillo, and Jessica Mejicanoz each got a chance to fly the planes.

“It was an experience I’ll never forget,” said Emilio.

“They had a blast,” said Commander Stapleton. “Maybe a few future pilots in the group!”
