Boys’ Basketball: Demons Beat Ravens 46-44

The Demons went point to point against the Rio Grande Ravens on Feb. 17. In an intense, last-second turn of events, Santa Fe High took the win, 46-44.
“What a battle!” said Coach Zack Cole. “I’m happy for our boys. That win created a three-way tie for first place in our district, essentially creating a tri-champion situation.”
Assistant Principal Jaime Chavez said, “Thank you to our boys, coaches, safety personnel, and admin for maintaining their composure and handling an angry crowd with class.”
This was an especially important night for the seniors, as it was their last regular home game.
