Demon Wrestling Takes 4th at Al Salazar Tournament

The Santa Fe High Wrestling team placed 4th out of 14 teams the Al Salazar Wrestling Tournament at St.Michael’s High School on Dec. 10. Two wrestlers even earned the Outstanding Wrestler award.
The following individual wrestlers earned distinction:
107 pounds: Gabe Lujan – 3rd place
121 pounds: Elias Mendiola – 1st place/Outstanding Wrestler award
145 pounds: Jeremiah Padilla – 1st place/Outstanding Wrestler award
152 pounds: Tomas Martinez – 1st place
215 pounds: Jacob Reta Perea (8th grade) – 4th place
