NJROTC traveled to Albuquerque on Nov. 19 to participate in the Area 9 Drill Qualifier, where cadets participated in Armed Drill, Unarmed Drill, Physical Fitness, and Academics. The team was First Place Overall Drill Meet Sweepstakes Winners, which qualifies them for the Regional Qualifier held in Oklahoma in January.

Chief Schipp said, “It was pretty cold and windy, but the cadets hung tough.” In addition to winning first place overall, the team also took the following:
