Sidewalk Chat: Ideal Spring Break vs. Reality

Dylan Ramirez and Alejandro Gutierrez, Authors

Brock Mckinney:
Ideal: “Go to an exotic country like Fiji, on a cruise ship eating the most exotic fruits, with a pet monkey on my shoulder feeding me fruits. And all the foreign beauties.”
Reality: “Most likely I’ll just go home and sleep. Oh, and eat a ton of pizza.”
Che Muller:
Ideal: “My ideal spring break would definitely be going to a party in Spain.”
Reality: “Instead I’ll be in L.A. with the whole family, going to amusement parks and whatnot.”
Alcion Calderon
Ideal: “Because I have a family to sustain, I am happy doing what I do during spring time. I’m working for a cause, and that makes everything better. I just wish school was longer and in return, spring break were longer.”
Reality: “Like I said, I’ll be doing some work or go see my family in Cuba.”
Nick Gallegos:
Ideal: “I would like to go to Miami or maybe somewhere in Mexico like Cabo or Cancun, somewhere with a beach.”
Reality: “I’m going to stay home all day for the most part and ride my scooter. No, I am not joking. Not only do I like doing it, but I’m also sick at it.”
