SLAC stands for Student Leadership Advisory Counsel. They organize major school events such as Freshman Bridge and middle-school tours. 

Mr. Granado helps teach leadership skills and values to the younger students (ninth- and tenth-graders), which prepares them to be senior mentors. 

Mr. G. explained, “The senior mentors were mostly SLAC members when they were younger. It runs like a continuum — SLAC member (grades 9-10), SLAC advisor (grade11), and senior mentors (grade 12).

SLAC may be joined at any time during the year by any student. Meetings are announced in the video announcements.
