The Demons beat Española 35-8 on Sept. 6, with a second home-game win. 

The Demons maintained the lead over the Sun Devils for the whole game. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 7-0; at halftime, it was 14-0; and at the end of the third quarter, it was 14-8.

There were a lot of interceptions from the Demons and the defense was strong. In one play, linebacker Matthew Maestas chased down an Española player and knocked the ball loose with a crunching shot to the chest.

The Demons also beat Moriarty, 19-14, on Aug. 30. 

The Demons are pumped for their upcoming away game against Taos High on Sept. 13.
