The varsity girls soccer season has come to an end with a final record of 9-8-2 overall and a district record of 3-6-1.

The coach and the players seem to believe the team has improved a lot from last season and shows really good promise or the future.

“I think they did a great job,” said head coach Alvin Valdez. “I am very excited to see the way the underclassmen grow as players and as a team.”

“We worked on our game and our chemistry as a team,” said sophomore Anya Muller. “There are a lot of things we could improve on, and we are going to work on that next season.”

“We have improved a lot from last year and most of the team is still young,” Coach Valdez said. “We have a strong team all around and we will be better next year. … We just have to fix what we did wrong this year and do better next year.”
