Roberta Roybal

Roberta Roybal is a health teacher who started teaching at Santa Fe High in 2018. Before, she taught at Milagro and De Vargas Middle school. She said she loves to be around her former students here on campus.
Ms. Roybal graduated from Santa Fe High in 1977. She attended New Mexico Highlands University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in general science. She earned her master’s degree in education from Grand Canyon University.
“I like studying the human body,” Ms. Roybal said. She has taught physical science, life science, and health for the past 31 years and said she loves to be around young people.
Ms. Roybal loves to go to the movies, work out, spend time with her grandkids, and go see the Isotopes and high school games. Her whole family graduated from Santa Fe High, including her husband and two children. Her son Teddy, who graduated in 2010, played Demon basketball for his uncle Lenny Roybal.
