‘Tis the Season to Come Together

Acting on the holiday spirit of giving, Santa Fe and Capital high schools have come together to support the community by with the Stuff the Bus project.
On Sat., Dec. 10 and Sun., Dec. 11, the SFHS and CHS athletic bus will be parked at the Super Wal-Mart. The goal of this project is to literally “stuff the bus” with donations of food, clothing and toys to distribute to those in need.
The organizations from Capital include Student Government, Culture Club, National Honor Society, Jaguar Softball, AVID 11, AVID 10, AVID 9, the Archaeology Club and the girls’ basketball team.
Santa Fe High’s participating organizations include Life Skills, Key Club, AVID 10, National Honor Society, Bilingual Club, the Culinary Academy, SWAT, Student Government, Table Tennis, NJROTC, the Innovation Academy, Demon Football, Mock Trial and Model Legislature.
If you would like to stop by and make a donation, the project will be on from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the Wal-Mart at 5701 Herrera Drive. Suggested items include canned goods, boxed goods, fruit snacks, warm winter gear and toys for both boys and girls.
