Santa Fe High’s NJROTC came away as Sporter Marksmanship Champions and the third overall unit at the NM state JROTC meet on Saturday, April 1, at Cibola High School.

Along with the program’s major accomplishments in the Sporter Marksmanship category and overall podium placement, the NJROTC also earned the following honors:

3rd Individual Sporter Overall – Jacob Mirabal

3rd Individual Male Sprint, Drag, Carry – Emilio Leon

3rd Female Color Guard

3rd Unarmed Exhibition

3rd Unarmed Regulation

2nd Uniform Personnel Inspection

The competition season began in September and is finally coming to a close at the beginning of April. All of the participating cadets have shown dedication, discipline, and devotion to the program and their peers.
