The holidays are coming, along with the work of our performing and visual arts students.

What better way to welcome the spirit of the season than with a performance right before break, on Thurs., Dec. 13? The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. at the James A. Little Theater (1060 Cerrillos Road), with the opening act being the guitars.

“My favorite part is when were all done, with everybody smiling and laughing at the end,” said Mr. Champion, the guitar instructor at SFHS.

Following guitar will be the orchestra, band, and choir.

“It’s really nice to have all the kids come together for a project,” said choir teacher Ms. Barnes.

There will also be art up in the Visual Arts building until January, showcasing the work from the students of the fall semester.

“The students are showing off all the work they’ve put in this semester,” said art teacher Ms. Andrews. “The art they do really speaks for itself.”
