Angelica Quintana teaches employability skills, biology, and environmental science. She joined the Demon community in 2017.

Originally from Santa Fe, Ms. Quintana lived in Arizona for 10 years and taught there for three years. She graduated from Grand Canyon University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in science and elementary education, and also in special needs. She said she chose this profession because she has a special-needs child and enjoys “making a difference in students’ lives.” She also enjoys meeting new students every year.

Ms. Quintana has eight children and two grandchildren. She is a coach for youth sports such as basketball, baseball, and softball and has been coaching for 17 years. She enjoys camping and says any free time is spent with her family at their cattle ranch in Eastern NM.
