Summer is many people’s favorite season, especially teens. We look forward to it because we are out of school and have free time for ourselves for a few months. There’s a lot of fun to be found in Santa Fe and nearby. Here are some ideas.

Indoor fun
One of the best attractions in Santa Fe is Meow Wolf, an immersive art experience that is the place to go for indoor fun. Meow Wolf is open every day except Tuesday.

Another fun place is the Santa Fe Climbing Center. It is filled with rock climbing activities and is open seven days a week.

The All Out Zone, an indoor entertainment center in the Santa Fe Place mall, is getting very popular. This is a perfect place to go with your friends and make great memories. It’s open Monday-Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m.

Volunteering
Do you like to volunteer? These are some places that could use your help.

The animal shelter is a perfect place to volunteer if you love animals, though if you are younger than 16, you must have a parent with you.

Nature
Hiking or camping in Hyde Park, accessible from the road to the Santa Fe ski basin, is great, the perfect place to exercise and take some good photos.

The Bishop Lodge Stables will open again on July 1. Here you will be able to ride horses and go on trails.

Albuquerque, just an hour away, can be a lot of fun.
