Demon golfer Gabby Armendariz earned a fifth place individual medal at the District 2-6A golf tournament on April 30. Gabby, a sophomore, competed against 25 other golfers, many of them older and more experienced, on an extremely windy day.

“It was quite the accomplishment!” said Coach Leonard Baca.

“I love golf,” Gabby said. “It forces you to be the best that you can be.”
