Charlotte Ault is an assistant principal at SFHS, a role she has held since 2021 after teaching for many years and working in other administrative roles.
Originally from Kingsville, Texas, Ms. Ault has been teaching for 20 years. She taught at other SFPS schools, including Salazar, Carlos Gilbert and Gonzales before coming to Demon Country in 2018. She said she “loves being here.”
Ms. Ault earned her bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Mississippi, a teaching license from the University of New Mexico, and an Educational Leadership endorsement from New Mexico Highlands University.
Ms. Ault loves being outdoors and traveling around the world. “One of my most memorable trips was to the Galapagos Islands,” she said, noting that she used to live in Serbia and Lima, Peru.
Despite her exotic adventures, Ms. Ault loves living in Santa Fe. The majority of her family — including more than forty cousins — live here as well. She describes her experience in Santa Fe as ”a beautiful 360-view” and loves going to museums and looking at all the art in Santa Fe.
