Our Santa Fe HS NJROTC was recently selected as a Distinguished Unit with Academic Honors for the 2016-2017 School Year

There are 66 schools with NJROTC programs in our NJROTC Area which includes schools in NM, TX, OK, TN, MO, KS, and KY.  Only the top 30 percent are selected as a Distinguished Unit. This year 19 NJROTC Units from those 66 schools were selected as a Distinguished Unit and only 10 of those 19, including Santa Fe, were with Academic Honors.

Distinguished Unit is decided upon by the NJROTC Area Manager who grades each unit on their school year performance to include things like community service hours, school service hours, academics, physical fitness, SAT/ACT Prep, College Prep, Career Prep, and competition results.
