Before working at Santa Fe High, Ms. Cordova worked at Northern New Mexico College once her kids were old enough to go to school.

Though she is actually a realtor, she said she likes working at schools. She enjoys being involved with students. ”I like to help people. I like for people to be able to come in here and feel safe. I like the interaction,¨ she said.

Ms. Cordova said she also likes the hours, the vacation time, Santa Fe’s High’ s community, and being a part of different committees, including serving as Booster Club president. Her recent project was starting the powder puff games for the juniors and seniors for Homecoming.

In her free time Ms. Cordova enjoys working out, being involved with her kids’ basketball programs, and spending time with her family. Her husband is a basketball coach, and she has always encouraged her kids to be involved in sports as well.

“Family is my priority,” she said.
